Energy Modelling

BTU have a strong engineering skills in house and we have made use of these skills to promote our business.  We have recognised the need for end users to install low energy demand equipment and we have been able to use the software to demonstrate the benefits of systems.

Recently we were approached by a primary school built in 1998 suffering from overheating, we were able to develop the energy system to create a dynamic model for temperature analysis.

This model was used to create the case for cooling in the school as we were able to evidence the internal summer temperature within the building and we were able to demonstrate to the client the most efficient manner of delivering a cooling solution.

The project to install cooling throughout the school was completed in 2008 and this summer the school are benefiting from the system and has a comfortable environment for the first time ever.
